Comstock Kids and SOARS is a Before/After School and Summer Program for children kindergarten through 7th grade. This program provides a safe and fun environment for children that follows different curriculum such as developmental assets and STEAM. The Before/After School Program runs 7am-9am and 3:30pm-6pm during regular school days during the year. Children have breakfast and afternoon snacks provided as well as homework aid available.
The Summer Program runs 7am-6pm Monday-Friday during the summer break for the Storey County School District. During this time, the kids participate in weekly themes, pool time daily, and field trips. Breakfast, a morning snack and afternoon snack are provided.
Once a child enters 5th-7th grade they are able to be SOARS. Our SOARS program is very similar to Comstock Kids but allows the older kids to take on more responsibility by running a farmers market, creating community service projects, and learning how to be a good role model to the younger kids.
