All Storey County residents are invited to join Community Chest’s weekly COVID-19 Community Resiliency forums. These are NOT political forums, or places from which to receive answers regarding health questions or available resources (although we can definitely receive questions and follow-up with folks individually).
What these forums ARE for is to be a place to get and stay connected with others in the community, a place to learn what others are doing to set and maintain routines, a place to discover other ways of connecting and things to do to fill the hours in meaningful ways, a place to share both the challenges and even perhaps the benefits/gratitudes that come with social distancing/isolation, a place to meeet new people and find common ground as we feel and think together about what is still possible, a place to be able to vent (a bit) and learn/practice mindfulness strategies for helping us reduce stress and face each new day.
Our first forums will held on Monday, March 30 at two different timeframes to accommodate different schedules. The first will be from 12:30 to 1 (meeting connection link: https://zoom.us/j/834980481), and the second will be from 4:30 to 5 (meeting connection link: https://zoom.us/j/218529083).
We look forward to “seeing” you there.
