Help us Win $10,000 in the NVEnergy Foundation Power of Good Giveaway!

Vote EVERY DAY UNTIL JULY 21ST for CCI to win $10,000!

The NV Energy Foundation is awarding two local youth organizations $10,000 each in their official Power of Good Giveaway and we need your help to win! Vote for us daily from Monday, July 10th at 8am until 11:59pm on July 21st.

Community Chest, Inc. (CCI) has been providing services to rural northern Nevada for over 25 years, and has been an advocate for educating the underserved youth population through the Classroom on Wheels (COW) Program for 18 years. The COW Program’s fleet of school buses serve as mobile classrooms, providing free and accessible quality preschool education to families in underserved rural areas. COW Bus uses the same curriculum as our local school district and serves 140 youth annually in the communities of Virginia City, Dayton, Mark Twain, Silver Springs, Fernley, and Tonopah.

Your vote will help support our Classroom on Wheels (COW Bus) Program! This alternative funding is being sought to cover staffing costs, and to keep the program free to youth and families.
